Help Desk answer to Question: "How do you Make a ?sub board? of a Forum?"
The way the system is/was designed is that Hostboard has a set list of static categories. Within those categories a member can create a sub-category and forum. If a member decides they want more forums they "subscribe" to the system in a pay to play environment. With each payment we add additional functionality. The matrix for this is still being decided upon but the core of amount of forums allowed is set and basicaly increments by 1 until you reach the upper levels.
At this time there is no way to allow another member to create a forum under someone elses sub-category.
The system is designed to mimick the original system and also offer a few more features but please understand it litterly costs thousands of dollars per year to run this place and I am hoping between the donation system and the pay to play expansion of abilities that we can start off setting the costs and really push for more development on top of what I already have in the works.
On a side note we have relaly pushed to eliminate any connection/speed issues these last few days and now are going to dive in to the known bugs in the HBCP. Hopefully we should have solutions/fixes within a weeks time.
